country and globe. With over 29,000 students, some 7,500 staff, and
an exceptionally wide range of degree courses. The Regional Office co-ordinates the University's industrial support
activities and is the official contact point for organizations involved in
economic development. It is also responsible for developing opportunities
through which academics can gain access to the business and economic
development communities.
At an operational level, the Regional Office is the 'front door' through
which business can access the industrial support and knowledge base of the
University. It is responsible for the referral and follow-up of technical
and other enquiries to Faculties and Industrial Services
