International
Camden University is an international university with a worldwide reputation.
We welcome applications from overseas students and
encourage all students to gain maximum benefit from our
international connections, which include extensive research
links abroad.
The University has a thriving international community of
some 21,100 Distance Learning students from over 130
different countries. About half of those students are
welcomed onto postgraduate programs, or contribute fully as
research students.
The overseas representative of the Students' Union plays
a major role in assisting the 20 international societies at
the University and in organizing the renowned annual
International Week.
International Week includes an international reception and
exhibition, sporting events, a quiz and an international
disco. The high spot is an international gala, where
societies present stage performances depicting their regions
and cultures, always thoroughly enjoyed by students, staff
and guests of honor.
- The Students' Union has a Travel Bureau which can assist with travel plans, providing special advice on overseas students' travel arrangements. In addition to the support services offered by the university to all students, a range of extra services is provided to international students to enable them to maximize their chances of academic success
